Proud to be supporting our utility & merchant partners

The government is working with the major utility companies to make sure the UK’s gas, water and sewerage operations continue to run smoothly during these unprecedented and uncertain times. Many of these utility companies are our customers, and they have written to us this week to confirm the vital role we play in their supply chain, requesting that we continue to work with them to ensure these vital services are maintained. We have had the same response from many of our merchant customers who have been asked by the government to remain open as the key products and services they supply are needed to maintain our infrastructure.

Our primary focus is the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers and partners, so we have adjusted our manufacturing and supply chain processes to incorporate the latest guidance on COVID-19 and provide continuity of supply to our utility and merchant partners with the critical products they require.

At the same time, our technical, sales and customer services teams are all working remotely and will continue to provide the same level of service that you have come to expect from us.

We will continue to assess the rapidly-changing situation on a daily basis to keep our colleagues and partners as safe as possible while fulfilling our responsibilities to our customers in providing essential services.
